Norm MacDonald’s first performance in comedy was in Ottawa stand up clubs. He appeared at the 1987 comedy just for the laughs comedy festival. He came to join the cast of NBC’S Saturday Night Live television program in 1993. He has made a frequent appearance on the internet talk show. He joined the Norm Show from 1999 to 2001. He was later named #31 On the Best Stand-up Comics of All Time.
