Kelsey Grammer is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, singer, producer, director, writer, and activist. He is well known for his two-decade-long portrayal of psychiatrist Dr. Frasier Crane on the NBC sitcoms Cheers and Frasier.

He decided to concentrate on his passion after leaving his school in Juilliard; he had an internship with the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego in late 1970. He went on and made his own way in ‘Lennox’ In Macbeth, taking the lead role in 1981. In 1983, he performed in the demo of the Stephen Sondheim-James LA pine production Sunday in the Park with George, starring Mandy Patinkin. In 2010, April 18th he made his Broadway musical debut playing the role of Georges in the revival of the Jerry Herman /Harvey Fierstein musical La Cage aux Folles.
