Professional Life and Career

Deion Sanders played more than 641 games with four teams in his baseball career. Deion played part-time baseball for more than nine years old. The player transferred to Kansas City Royals in 1985 sixth draft round. Deion did not sign the deal with Kansas City Royals.

In 1988, Major League Baseball Draft, he was selected by New York Yankees in the 30th round. The player signed a deal with the team on 2 June. Sanders started his career with Albany-Colonie Yankees of the Class AA Eastern League. He leaves the team to attend the NFL training camp. On 31 May 1989, the player made his major league baseball debut. In the 1990 season, he made Yankees Opening Day Roster.

The player gets involved in a controversy with Chicago White Sox catcher Carlton Fisk.  The player asks for $1 million salaries in the 1991 season. He ends the season with 158 batting average and three home runs in 57 games.

The player signed a deal with Atlanta Braves for the 1991 MLB Season. He hit three-run home against the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1992 season, he hit .303 for the team and stole 26 bases. Deion leaves the baseball for three years. In 2001, the player returned to the Reds, but he did not play well.
